The "gospel" simply means "good news." The good news is that no matter who you are or what you have done, you can be forgiven and receive eternal life through the LORD Jesus Christ. Prayerfully read through these six points along with the Bible verses and ask God to show you His wonderful good news. God desires to save you. God has provided completely for your salvation through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. Know with certainty that if you call on the LORD to save you from your sins, He will do so! The Gospel of Jesus Christ
1. God loves you!
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son [Jesus Christ] that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16, NKJV)
2. Your sin separates you from God's love.
There is no difference -- for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23, NKJV)
For the wages of sin is death BUT the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our LORD. (Romans 6:23, NKJV)
3. Jesus Christ reconciles you to God by dying for all your sins.
Christ died for sins, once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. (1 Peter 3:18, NIV)
4. Jesus Christ rose from the dead so you can be sure of forgiveness and eternal life.
For us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. (Romans 4:24-25, NIV)
5. If you turn from your sins and believe in the LORD Jesus Christ, you will have eternal life.
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” (Romans 10:9-11, NIV)
6. When you trust in the LORD Jesus Christ, you have the certain hope of Heaven.
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. (Philippians 3:20-21)
